Cannabis Education & Awareness Funding Opportunity
Health Canada has established funding for a cannabis public education and awareness initiative. The funding is for “evidence-informed education, awareness, health promotion, prevention, harm reduction and treatment initiatives to address substance use priorities, including cannabis”. Non-profit health organizations, other non-profit or charitable organizations, universities, school boards, municipalities, and First Nations organizations are eligible for funding.
There is no deadline for this Call for Proposals (CFP) process. Under this invitation, funding applications will be accepted on a continual basis and funding will be subject to budgetary and program considerations. More information on the Substance Use and Addictions Program is available at https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/publications/healthy-living/substance-use-addictions-program-call-for-proposals-guidelines-applicants.html.
